Each artwork is created directly on the canvas, there is no direct sketch before drawing the image. I am looking for a mode of creativity where the artwork is a manifestation of the moment of creation. The surrealists call it automatism, I think this process of unlocking the subconscious intent represents a transcendental truth.
The artist becomes a vessel for the intuitive act of creating. Technique and resolution operate to engage the viewer to the experience of a fully realized work of art.
